Görkem Erdoğdu graduated from TOBB University of Economics and Technology with a degree in Industrial Engineering and began his professional career in 2012 at PwC Turkey’s Risk, Process, and Technology Services practice. With over 13 years of experience, she has provided corporate governance, IT audit, internal audit, internal control, and advisory services to local and international clients across various industries.

Görkem currently serves as a Director in BDO Turkey’s Governance, Risk and Compliance Services practice. Her areas of expertise include corporate governance, ERP system reviews, analyzing and improving internal control systems through a data analytics approach, and establishing and enhancing enterprise risk management frameworks.

She also leads projects involving the establishment and development of internal audit functions, internal audit outsourcing and co-sourcing, internal audit quality assurance assessments, and fraud investigations. In addition, he delivers training programs in her areas of expertise.
