Barış Karakullukçu is a business executive with over 25 years of leadership experience spanning consulting, C-suite management and board governance. She began her career at PwC before taking on partner- and country-director-level roles at Accenture and IBM Türkiye, where she built the Türkiye Products consulting practice from the ground up and delivered 50+ transformation programmes for clients including Unilever, Coca-Cola, Renault, Arçelik and Migros. On the client side, she served as CEO of Mudo, leading the family business through an institutionalisation and omnichannel transformation that Harvard Business School now teaches as a case study (HBS No. 416-015); as Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Turkcell; and as Deputy CEO for Strategy, Business Development and Digital at Türk Telekom. Between 2022 and 2025, she founded and led the AI Startup Factory, Türkiye's leading bank-backed AI venture platform, as founder-CEO within the İşbank Group. She currently serves as an Independent Board Member and Chair of the Remuneration & Nomination Committee at Arena (BIST-listed), and as Chairperson of the Board of the AI & Technology Association (YZTD). She is also a member of IFC's Nominee Directors Database and chairs TÜBİSAD's AI Committee. She holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University and an Executive MBA from Koç University.
